I can See the Future

My smoothie this morning held me over well. Nonetheless, I was excited for lunch because I knew exactly what I wanted! Those nachos yesterday that I had for a "snack" were just too good!
My meal started out with Blue Corn Tortilla Chips topped with Fat Free Black Beans and one slice of Mild Cheddar Cheese....popped under the broiler! On the side I had a pile of shredded lettuce, salsa and tomatoes...like a mini taco bar! I love interactive meals! :D On the side, I mashed 1/4 an advocado with some black bean/corn slasa for a YUMMY dip! As satisfying as this meal was, my hand dug into the tortilla chip bag way too many times afterwards....! Then I had a mid-day dessert..those are the best! ;) The Strawberries 'n Cream variety that I had yesterday is still my favorite! But this one was still DELISH! (of course!)
And the other half of my LARGE orange from yesterday! mmmmmm!
So after too many snackages/tortilla chips, I made a light and satisfying soup for dinner....into the mix went:
  • 1 Cup of Pacific Foods Butternut Squash Soup
  • 1/2-1 cup of Frozen Broccoli, Cauliflower and Carrots
  • about 1/2 cup of Amy's Black Bean Chili leftover from yesterday
SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! I see this again in my very near future!
I also see some popcorn and SF Popsicles in my future!
If you could have any one super power, what would it be? haha!

  1. Hooray for mid-day desserts! That soup bowl is so cute! I agree with Yasmin, invisibility would be the ultimate super power! Though i have to admit I'd probably use it for evil ;)

  6. I have put a lot of thought into this one, and if I could have any super power it would def. be invisibility. I just think it would be great to be able to just sneak around and spy on everyone! haha.

  7. Hrmm...is there a super power to be in more than one place at the same time?? Can I make that a super power?? There's so many times where I'd like to be more than one place at a time. :)

Your soup creation looks great - such an awesome idea.

By the way, I really do like the 10 calorie vitamin waters - they are naturally sweetened which makes me feel good. They do taste quite vitamin-y but that's to be expected, I'd say! The orange is my favorite. Let me know if you try it!
