Yesterday morning, I popped an Amy's Strawberry Toaster Pastry into the toaster and prepped my "icing". By prepped, I mean that I took the PB jar out of the pantry. It was such a hassle.... ;)
MMM...MMM...
For a quick lunch before heading out to the dentist/shopping, I heated a veggie burger and zapped some frozen broccoli. Hello, 3 minute lunch! And oh. em. gee. I got a Peppermint Mocha Latte at Starbucks while I was out and it was DIVINE!
I also received a package from Katie. She's a great blogger and we did a mini switcharooskie! PB Loco samples?! Sweet!
Oh yea, for breakfast (before I went off to ACE my Organic Chemistry final) I had a Penny's Low Fat Desserts Peanut Butter Cookie with a sliced banana. Can I just say that if you like PLD's PB cookie frozen, just wait until you heat it up. The PB chips turn into melty pockets of PB delight amidst the fluffy, smooth base. Ahhhh...
Before hitting the road, the UPS man made an emergency stop at my dorm to drop of a package from the Q.Bel Fairy. Well, hey there! :D
These were sooooo fun to photograph! So Colorful!
In the past three days, I have tried both the dark and milk chocolate wafer rolls...
After my ahhhmazing experience with O.bel's Peanut Butter Wafer Rolls, I had a feeling that these would not be a let down...
Alexa and I each had a dark chocolate wafer roll to entertain our tastebuds during our long drive home. It was very chocolate-y and you could most definitely tell that this was DARK chocolate! :D The thin crispy wafer brings a delicate crunch to each bite. I loved it. So did Alexa!
Last night, I was in the mood for a sweet treat and broke into the Milk Chocolate Wafer Rolls. Oh. la. la! These had the same delicate crunch within the firm chocolate coating. However, the difference was that this chocolate was milky and smooth. I liked them both because they each bring something different to the table!
Look for these in the store! You'll want to try them!
- Egg
- Lentils
- Onion, sliced thin
- Portobellos, sliced thin
- Tomato, chopped
- 2-3T Cottage Cheese (I added this on a whim and, while I couldn't taste it much, it really boosted the protein and staying power!)
A little later, I had a small salad spritzed with dressing and topped with strawberries and walnuts!
I heart this combo!
