There is alot of Cocoa and Christmas lovin' in this post!
Exhibit A: this Penny's Low Fat Desserts Chocolate Truffle Cookie, which I topped with some of Averie's Chia Chocolate Pudding...it was like a chocolate coma...in the most delicious way. This might as well say "Christmas" too because I wouldn't mind seeing a box of these under my tree! :D
MMM! For breakfast this morning, I made some stove top oats. I never make stove top oats. I'm not sure what came over me!? Anyways...here is what went into the mix for my Cocoa Christmas Oats:
- A spoonful of Cocoa Powder (1T?)
- 1/3c milk
- 1/3c water
- 1/3 c oats (instant)
- 1/2 banana, smushed
- 2-3t of turbinado sugar...and it still wasn't sweet enough for me...
- 1 packet Truvia...that does it! :D
- ~1T of Vanilla Extract...yep, it went pouring in like a river...whooops!
As you can see, I don't measure. I topped it with a big spoonful of PB and some sweetened Coconut. I am also not a fan of coconut. haha I don't know what I was thinking, but all of this worked together PERFECTLY and it was just divine!
Luncharoo was courtesy of Amy's Kitchen...a Margherita Pizza! I LOVE Amy's Crusts! :D
Of course, I added some broccoli and mushrooms to bring it up a notch! YUM!
Then, I spent a good hour helping my mom decorate the tree...er...laying on the couch torturing my dogs when I dug out their Christmas Hats! muahahah!
I had to wake them from their beauty sleep. It's okay. They can't get any more "beautiful" anyways!
Oh what they let me do to them! ;) They wouldn't look at the camera for ANYTHING! This was about shot #239734...no luck.
Santa's little helper!
Of course, all things must come to an end...
Sweet Potato Fries! 400 degree oven for 12 minutes each side...I spritzed them with EVOO and sprinkled on wayyyy too much Fajita Seasoning.
At some point, cheese met up with a whole wheat wrap and made its way into the loving arms of Mr. George Foreman. ;)
I didn't get around to baking today...perhaps tomorrow?! One thing that will be going down tomorrow is COFFEE, coffee coffee (click for a giveaway..hint, hint!).
