Wowzers! I worked my first night last night as a FroYo Girl (7-9 training) and it was busy busy! I was planning on blogging when I got home (around 9:30)...little did I know! We didn't get out of there until 10:20/30! So I came home, devoured the kitchen and went to bed! I basically cut fruit, do the register and keep everything clean of drips and spills! I was told that I can bring my laptop to work for down times; but at the moment, I am going to hold off on bringing too much until I get a hold of the job because I can't fathom having the time to be on my laptop....but maybe later on!
- One Eggland's Best Egg
- Sauteed Red Cabbage and Onion
- One Slice of Goooey Cheese!
- One Slice of Whole Wheat Toast with a bit of Promise Spread
I dont think you got the full effect......There ya go! ;)Then I went to school, rocked my History test and hit up Target (Whaaaat?! Yea, I know! I need to move in. However, they do not have those model beds, so where would I sleep?).
Anyways, I eventually made it home and whipped up a Five Minute Lunch (Love Those!).
- Flat Out Wrap
- Cuc Slices
- Carrot Chips
- Tomato Slices
- Boars Head Mesquite Smoked Turkey
- And a Side Salad
The main reason I threw a salad on the side, was so I could give a new product a try and write a review! I found Walden Farms Calorie Free Ranch Dressing for a little over $2 and thought it was too good to be true! It was pretty good and the ingredient list was surprisingly not appalling! Then again, it could have been more robust and a bit thicker! I gave it a 3 out of 5 rating because it would be especially great for dieters! My snackages for the day consisted of a Gala Apple and some Salt & Pepper PopChips! The popchips have ALOT of flavor and take over your taste buds pretty quickly! Unless your a stickler for spicy foods..in which case you would LOVE these! Either way, Popchips have an awesome texture if you have never tried them...a hybrid of a potato chip and a rice cake! :D
Dinner was exactly what I was craving! I had already had quite a bit of veggies throughout the day, so I thought I could leave them out of dinner (not that you could ever have too many veggies!). Anyways, I finished off the last 2.5 Oatmeal and Date Bars that I baked earlier.
Mind you: Four bars are safely in the freezer
my family ate a few....
oh and they were DARN good!
I also had a cup of no sugar added applesauce as the perfect accompaniment!
Then Alexa and I went SPINNNNNING! I pushed my body HARD tonight and it payed off! The class was over so fast! And I suffered (in a good way! haha).
After spinning, I came home and immediately made a "milkshake". Here are the contents:
- 1 Banana
- Milk
- A tiny bit of crushed ice (I was trying to thicken it up and it wasn't working!)
- about a cup of Dreyer's Slow Churned Yogurt Blends- Chocolate Vanilla Swirl!
- 1 T of PB (you've got to refuel those muscles!)
Plus a small scoop of ice cream on top :D
Unfortunately, I could not get it to be as thick as I would have liked; but it was still delish! Yum yum!
Ok guys! Im off for another stellar day tommorrow! I work again tommorrow night, so there may or may not be a post depending on my timing! I hope everything goes well! There is SOOO much to remember!

You know how you can make your milkshake thicker? Use frozen bananas instead of ice.
ReplyDeleteI will take bananas that are getting ripe, peel them and put them in ziploc bags. Use one with whatever else you have. I love frozen bananas and frozen fruit to make an awesome smoothie!
Mmm...that Sonic diet cola drink looked tasty and frothy, I love froth! I love the necklace too, muy bonita!
ReplyDeleteDiet Coke float? OK!!! Thanks for the shout out!
ReplyDeleteI don't freeze the smoothie, it's just kept in the blender and put into the refrigerator! So, there is no need to thaw :)
