Crank it uppppp!

Wowzers! I have been a busy bee! I have applied for about 3 jobs and am still waiting on word....I plan on going out and getting more applications tommorrow! Also, my mini-mester (while fairly easy going) is still taking alot of my time (see that book back there...I have to read it...I strongly dislike reading..lol!). ANYWAYS, here are a few highlights from the past 2 days:

Taco Salad with a huge pile of Fat Free Refried Beans (love 'em!), tomatoes, salsa, cheese and carrots & chips on the side! Delisssh!
Necklace of the day!
Dinner last night: Salmon Fillet with a little sauce concoction I whipped up (cream cheese, honey mustard, etc.....it was not very good though!)
I found these at Target on sale for $1 yesterday! Score! Along side I had some sweet potato fries...but they were so mushy I could have made mashed potatoes! I have not made them in so long..I forgot how!
I used EVOO and baked at 425 until crispy......
WHAT IS A FOOL PROOF WAY TO MAKE SWEET POTATO FRIES?! HELLLLPPPP~
Oh yes I did! ;)
Marty (aka Molly) was screaming for a pic! Muah!
And then Abigail felt left out!
QUICK (as light) breakfast this morning!
1 Egglands Best Egg Scrambled with S&P....and Fruit!
I bought these at Target the other day! They are quite yummilicious!
Lunch today:
*Thomas Whole Wheat English Muffin, Advocado, Lettuce, Veggie Burger
*Carrots
*Cabbage Slaw (less vinegar next time! It was not good enough to post a recipe!)
*Addicting Addicting Addicting Sesame Sticks!

Thoughts:

  • I love how everyone is so fascinated by my toaster! lol It is Walmart brand and I think we got it on sale for $20! Click here. That thing on the right steams/poaches the eggs to perfection!
  • Scroll up, look to the right of the screen and make your voice heard! ;)
  • Stoneyfield Giveaway time! Get in on the fun!
  • I joined the gym and went to a spinning class last night that KICKED MY BOOTAY! When I left, the air in my car was going at full speed! Im going again tonight! Am I insane?! No, I just like to push myself! :D

  1. Hi thanks for the comment. I got the Sainsbury's multigrain snacks from a Sainsbury's supermarket near where I live (in the Uk, I don't know if you have them in the USA) they're very similar to Walkers sunbites crisps.
    The taco salad looks amazing.
Whenever I make sweet potato fries I either burn them or they just stay soft.

  2. Sesame sticks are indeed VERY addicting!!

For my SP fries: chop it up, put them on a cookie sheet with PAM sprayed aluminum foil, season with whatever, bake at 425ish for 20 minutes, flip and reseason, bake again for 20ish minutes. Or you can cook them on a cooling rack :)

  3. I want to try those Gardenburgers SO bad! I haven't found them at any of my grocery stores yet.

I made sure to bake my sweet potato fries so about 45 minutes to get them pretty crispy. And that between 400-420 degrees. Oh, and I just season with a bit of salt and drizzle a small amount of olive oil on top. I am planning on making some tonight...I can't WAIT! hahhaa

    have a good day!

  4. Lucky charms! One of my favorite cereals from childhood and college.
For my sp fries I bake them at 400 degrees for 25 minutes flipping once about halfway during the time. I season mine with cumin, paprika, and black pepper and bake them on aluminum foil sprayed with Pam.
