GROW, GROW, GROW...PLEASE!

This week has been a whirlwind of events...and not in the best way! I came out of Target to find one of my hub caps missing, my hair was cut WAAAAAY too short, I work 10AM-11PM (no break) on Tuesday before my trip (Also, my last day of work)....yea, I'll spare you and stop there! ANYWAYS...there are lots of great pictures, so let's get to explainin'...

WW Waffle, PB, Slightly Defrosted Frozen Unsweetened Strawberries, A Sprinkle of Truvia.....REALLLLLY GOOD COMBO! Plain Yogurt, 1/2 Packet Truvia, Walnuts, Blueberries...YUM
Fat Free Refried Beans on WW Toast.....I love Refried Beans!

WW Sanddwich Thin with Annie's Roasted Red Pepper Dressing, Mashed Sweet Potato, Lentils, Grilled Onions/Peppers, Portabellos....HELLO!
Some Psychedellic Snacks!
So... I attempted to pile my Chocolate Yoplait Whips into a cone... After one lick, I had two parts to my treat...
And a mess...on my workout capris...
And everywhere else! hahah Yea, so the Whips dont really meld together well in a cone and kind of just crumble off the top. However, once the top was gone...it was a creamy, crunchy delight! :D
Next up to bat... I dressed up a Blue Bunny Strawberry Sedona Frozen Yogurt Granola Sandwich (whew..what a name!) by cutting it in half, drizzling with chocolate syrup and topping with blueberries! Phenomenal...as always!
Half of a Whole Foods Bakery Fat Free Carrot Cake Muffin (frozen from a trip sometime ago!) topped with PB! MMM!
Sweet Potato Fries, Radish Chips (Thanks Heather!), Broccoli & Refried Black Beans

I love plates with a bunch of different finger foods!
This is a must try! It doesn't look very melted in this picture, but it was hot and steamy in my mouth! YUM YUM YUM! Take an Oroweat (or Arnold's...K and I have decided they are the same...like Dryer's & Edy's...why do company's do this?) Sandwich Thin and pile 1T PB & 1T Dark Chocolate Chips inbetween. Grill. Enjoy. Period.
These Receptionist Sticks (as they are commonly known) are so good and my mom bought a little box the other day! Skinny Peppermint Sticks dunked in DARK chocolate! Chea!
Now for some fabulous news...Emma from Girl, you just can't dance forever was so sweet and after I commented on how incredibly adorable her customized cardigan was that she was giving away and didn't win....she sent me this cute handmade bow that I can pin onto one of my cardigans. How insanely nice of her! I mean, my gosh, I just found her fabulous blog not too long ago! Check it out right now! She's great and offers more than just scrumptious eats on her creative blog! Thanks Emma! I appreciate it more than words can say....
Yogurt Mess!
  • 1/2 Amazing Grass Bar, crumbled
  • Plain Yogurt
  • Truvia
  • Defrosted Frozen Unsweetened Strawberries

MMMM! I tried to tell you I love Refried Beans! ;) Atop a crispy bed of romaine...not very photogenic, but delicious! Well, I just got home from work about an hour ago and, while I was planning on going to the gym...I think I just need to listen to my tired body and rest....

So, I am enjoying the one South Beach Product that I actually LIKE (alot)...South Beach Grilled Chicken & Vegetable Pizza with Harvest Wheat Crust...Some pretty darn tasty/fairly healthy comfort food! :DOh and one last thing...in the midst of my not so great week, I looked at Mom on the Run's Blog this morning and saw that I was the GRAND PRIZE WINNER of her giveaway! Yay!

Speaking of Giveaways....HELLLO! :D (be a doll and mention my name! Thanks!)

  1. You're right ... your hair IS cute! Don't worry, I'm sure it'll grow back in not time. (Though it really IS cute!!!!)

  2. Personally, I think your hair looks great! I know what you mean though by it feeling like it's too short. I have really long hair so when my hair dresser cuts off more than I anticipate I kind of freak out!

Companies like Arnolds/Oroweat just like to screw with our minds ;) Haha! I love those 'receptionist sticks'!

  4. Your hair looks really pretty! I know how it feels to want your hair to grow, though. Believe me, it will! In the meantime, don't fret because it looks cute!

  5. At least you've been eating lots of healthy and yummy food despite some rough patches! Just think, some people eat lots of junk when they feel down...

I know this might sound odd, but you could take prenatal vitamins for a couple months. You don't have to be preggers to take them and they make your hair and nails grow! Seriously, I have friends who don't even have boyfriends that take them religiously b/c of the extra shine they give hair. Or you could just pray a lot that it grows fast! ;)

But, I think you look great just as you are!!

  7. girl you werent kidding when you said you were gonna hook it up with the foodie picture department! Everything looks delicious and I have been eatings TONS of refriend black beans lately too haha Love for the beans! :)

Im so sorry about your hair but it really looks just fine, i promise! I once had to cut 10 inches off my hair and while I was really sad for a bit, I ended up realizing that it was just hair and it looked fine after a few days of getting used to it. Big hugs because I know what its like but I know you'll feel better soon! Plus it WILL grow! Phewww :)

  11. Sorry about your crazy week! At least it's over now :) Your hair is definitely cute, but I understand what it's like to get a cut you're not happy yet. It will grow!

  12. oh Emily, don't worry about it! It will grow soon enough, and besides, I like the cute little bob! If you pull it up into a "messy" ponytail or pin it up, you'll look fab!

  13. Sorry things haven't been going well :( I hope things turn around soon! I know you think your hair is too short, but it really is cute. It'll definitely grow soon, but don't worry--it doesn't look bad in the slightest!

  15. I just bought some of the Kashi Heart to Heart Warm Cinnamon cereal and it's got a very weird texture. I was expecting crunchy and it was more soggy and chewy, like stale cereal is. Is yours this way or did I get a stale box?

    ReplyDelete
  16. It should most definitely be crunchy! Try a different box!

  17. wow that whips yogurt made a mess - but it looked like real ice cream in that cone! haha

  18. I love refried beans too!! Yum.

I just bought some Yoplait whips today, per your suggestion :) I'd had them before, but not for a long time. When I saw your post about them, I had to have one again! Man they are tasty. I haven't tried freezing them yet, but I'll keep in mind they don't work well on cones....

I know how annoying it is to get a cut that is too short. Last summer my hair was butchered and I freaked out because my hair is curly, therefore it grows 50 percent slower. It really looks just fine, who likes their hair right after a cut anyway??? You'll get used to it, and it will be back to normal before you know it.

  19. you always have such creative eats! i love the ice cream sandwich and blueberries and chocolate syrup! and im not just saying this-- but you do look stunning with your hair :) xoxoox

  20. awww sweetie it's not THAT short!!! I think it's quite endearing...yes it makes you look a little younger, but why would anyone wanna look old right??

Gosh you always have such great eats!! Piling frozen fruit on top of waffles and letting it thaw out is an AWESOME idea! I layer yogurt in between sometimes and that helps the thawing too...i've never tried it without the yogurt though, so thanks for the idea!!!
