Christmas Treats

I started off this Wonderful (not so white) Christmas with some Coffee Cocoa.
Can you believe that I have never had Coffee Cocoa?!

  • 1 mug of fresh brewed coffee
  • A splash of milk
  • 1T of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 packet Truvia (or any sweetener)
  • Whipped Cream and Festive Sprinkles (not really optional)
DEEEEEE-LIGHTFUL!
Then, I was looking for a breakfast that would use up some of this pumpkin staring at me in the fridge...I found one in this little mind of mine... (I didn't actually use measuring cups...)

  • ~4oz of plain yogurt (I had used some as "sour cream" on this nummmay dish)
  • 1/4c pumpkin
  • 1 small banana smashed with a fork (the lumpier...the more pudding-like!)
  • 1 packet of Truvia (or any sweetener)
  • tonnnnns of Pumpkin Pie Spice (don't be shy!)
Top it off with some smooth and crunchy chopped walnuts for the full effect!
This. Was. So. Good.
If you try it, let me know. You can send your gratitude in the form of a Frappuccino, if you'd like. ;)

Check out our Christmas tree. It's all I know, so when people come over and look at it funny, I have to remember that not everyone's tree looks like...well, this. haha But, I love it and it fits into our antique-y house just perfectly.
Pork Loin, Salad (dressed with this creamy goodness), green bean casserole, stuffing and leftover Potato Soup (which doubled as mashed potatoes..haha)
Abbey would like to say "Merry Christmas"...in her sweater that she is totally loving! (Can we just pretend?)
Present time!
  • Mixing bowls
  • a FRENCH PRESS!!!! (do you have one? tips?)
  • a pink insulated lunch "purse"
  • VS perfume and soap (Love spell...I don't think you should take that literally...but it sure does smell good!)
  • a bling-y "E" key chain....J's bling-y car keys will have to duke it out with mine now! Bring it Girlfran! ;)
  • A devotional book
  • The cutest scarf evvva! Love it!
  • A cross that my mom collaged and decorated herself!! AWESOME!
  • MARTY (aka my spoiled black furball of a mini schnauzer) Pajama Pants!

Santa also said he would bring me a camera when I make up my mind as to which one I want...too many options, you know?!

Sleeping Beauties...sweater-less! ;)
Stocking Stuffas!

I have had so many sweets today, it's not even funny! M&M's, Christmas Cookies, Candy...! I need to tone it down a notch...Tomorrow is time for Christmas Returns (got a few too many socks and some clothes that don't fit right...). Yea, we are those people who go out the day after Christmas...I think we are going to try to go out early (which is fine with me, as long as we swing by a Starbucks! :D). Merry Christmas!

  7. YES! That pumpkin yogurt concoction is almost the same thing I ate the other day, except I didn't add a banana..but that sounds like a brilliant addition. Love that heart bowl too. I've never had cocoa coffee! How exciting that Santa is going to get you a camera soon :)
