100th Birthday!

My blog on CollegeTips is celebrating its 100th post, hosted by yours truly, so naturally we are going to have a "party"! And what’s a party without presents? Now, I am not sure how this works out; but for some reason, I am going to give away a present to one of my lucky readers instead of the other way around (Have you ever been to a birthday party like that? No? I know, I’m special!).

Avery Office Supplies recently contacted me and asked if I would like to do a product review of Avery Note Tabs. Well, I take my school work very seriously and any organizational help that I can get can only be beneficial, right? I was ready to take on the challenge!

I received a package that looked a little something like this:

Avery Pocket Tabs

Avery Pocket Tabs...Cd style!
Avery Cool Green 3" X 3-1/2" Note Tabs

Avery Neon Blue Note Tabs (aka very sturdy post-its with a tab...you can see through them, write on them...the world is your oyster!).

Different colors, shapes and styles...all at Avery.com!
Alrighty...So, How did my roommates and I (They love when I get a package! haha) go about using them?

They are very sturdy, and with the nifty tab sticking up, you can use them in your planner to easily find your place. Also, the stickiness is legit, so you can move it from week to week and probably reuse is quite a few times! Not to mention, you can see through it or write on it, so it does not get in the way, like a Post-it would.

Note Card Holder! This sturdy guy has become my friend. There is a big sticky thing on the back, so when you peel off the covering, you can stick it straight into your (Insert Chosen Notebook Here) and Voila!...you have an instant pocket to hold all of your notecards.

This was one of my roomie's doings...She was studying for a test and decided to organize her notes like so. Easy access, no!?

Best bookmark everrr! Not the most interesting book, but try to look past that! This is a great bookmark because it is sturdy and just sticky enough to stay in place without leaving a residue or losing its stick easily! BAM!

Off to class I go!
But, before I leave, I'd like to offer up a little package like the one you see above (in the first picture). Happy 100th to my CollegeTips blog. If you are interested in making your studying more interesting or organized, leave a comment below with one creative way of how you would use these Avery NoteTabs! I will choose a random winner on November 22nd! That date sounds familiar...oh yea, that is when my Penny's Low Fat Desserts Giveaway ends too! Don't forget about the 10% discount code for those tasty treats: EWTEX.

I would use them to remind myself of what to buy at the grocery store! Sometime I need to organize what I "need" and what I "want"

  9. Haha, I love organizing stuff so I'd go crazy over that stuff. I think the Avery's note tabs would be perfect for marking the important stuff in my bio textbook, which is like 400 pages too long ;) They'd also be great for organizing my harp gig music :) Happy blog birthday!

  11. Awesome!! I could definitely use those for when I'm studing -- I take tons of notes in my notebook and it'd be great to be able to split up some of the work.

    Organizing is fun!!
